Amen to all the points. And I love the first pic - the sailor kissing the young girl, the famous "V–J day in Times Square" photo. I read about it a few weeks ago (yeah I had never heard of it before)and was planning to put it up in some future post but I guess you beat me to it. But it totally is the right pic for this post.
hehe.. indeed..:)
Awwwww yes, what a lovely feel-good post. I'd add the sweet stanky breath of a fat little puppy, the happy chortle of a baby, climbing into a warmed up bed at the end of a long cold day..
@Aduhi: You can always use the pic again, Lord knows, I dont have exclusive rights to it :D I really love it too.
@Cobtea: Indeedy do.
@Calliopia: Yes to all three! Once I started writing,I realized there were too many, and I had to stop :D
Si...beautiful indeed.
I'd say no to "The breeze in your hair" and "long phone conversation" though lol.
How's it going, dearie? Last week atrang khan hna ka thawk nasa lutuk a ka hmai te a bawl vek!!
Ok, so not to miss the point of the post because it was a wonderful post and there's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said by yourself, I have to ask -
What WAS the inspiration for this list? :)
Knowing that Mizoram beat Railways and hence have the same points as Railways, the same goal difference too, and yet qualify for the Pre Quarterfinal rounds because Mizoram scored 1 goal more than Railways did. Ahhhhhh such long distant simple pleasure!!!! :)
yeah indulge indulge, in the simple "reminiscing" pleasure, its a healthy depressant heheh evil me na? sorry hehe truth is, this one actually takes me back to our "fooling around" days when all it takes was a bus ride to lighten our moods/ a few puffs on the footpath next to our college...ahhhh youth, who'd want to let it go??
@Lucy: Doing great :) Nge i hmai bawl khop2 a hna an lo pek che aww...
How could you not love the wind in your hair? :(
@Eveline: Inspiration..umm..me googling that V-J Pic while listening to a song I love, with the breeze from an open window ruffling my hair :D
@Illue: Yay to that, I guess. Germany trashing England AND Argentina was not a simple pleasure, btw, it was sheer exuberance :)
@Jamie: Bleh bleh bleh. Love you anyway, and no, dont get scared, I mean it platonically :D
Zactly, that last bus ride we had was one of the things I remembered. Kan thlalakah khan kan hmelchhe lutuka, ka post ngamlo :D

yes to all the points except (i) Sudoku (2) Solitaire (3) The parents dancing because I haven't seen them do it so I don't know what that's like. I'd put something like sleeping on fresh linen smelling of the sun, waking up with a wet doggy nose against your skin, and tiny baby fingers clutching your finger :)
